Drug & Alcohol
Safety Education Program (DASEP)

LEVEL 1

  • Class is offered once per week for 3 weeks.
  • Each class is 4 hours long
  • Available via Zoom

LEVEL 2

  • Class is offered once per week for 4 weeks.
  • Each class is 4 hours long
  • Available via Zoom

All our classes are offered on zoom. You can sign up for the classes by calling or you can come  in person to 628 West Broadway suite 300 NLR, AR 72114.

You will be required to come in person before the class starts to get a DASEP book and fill out paperwork.

We offer classes on Tues 5pm-9pm, Thurs 5pm-9pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. Each class starts in a new month and you must attend all 3 or 4 classes to get credit.

Requirements

In-State Conversion Requirements– If you obtain a citation in the state of Arkansas, you will need to contact FSA to receive recommendation requirements. 

Out-Of-State Conversion Requirements: if you live in Arkansas but received a citation in another state, it is your responsibility to find out what that state requires for FSA to render services to you.  If you get an offense not listed in our catchment area, you will need to get a referral form from the county you receive the offense from.

Once you complete the requirements you will need to mail us the certificate of completion with a $150 money order. The $150 is a fee set by the state for FSA to convert to an Arkansas certificate. Please Include your DOB, reference number, contact information, and date of offense.

You can contact Driver Control at 501-682-1631 for reference number and offense date. You should also contact them to get a list of what is required. Driver Control is the final authority on your needed requirements.

A Victim Impact Panel class is also required to have your license reinstated. If you have not taken this class, click here for more information and how to sign up.

Regional Prevention Provider (RPP)

The Region 9 Prevention Provider (RPP) provides FREE assistance to communities in developing pro-active approaches to reducing risk associated with violence, alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse.

Prevention reduces the risk of unhealthy behaviors while fostering safe, productive environments. Successful prevention leads to the reduction of crime, alcohol related automobile fatalities and addiction.

Victim Impact Panel (VIP)

At Family Service Agency, we believe in the power of education and empathy to create positive change. Our DWI Victim Impact Panel Class offers a unique opportunity for individuals who have been convicted of DWI offenses to understand the real-life consequences of their actions and make meaningful strides toward accountability and growth.

Led by compassionate facilitators, this class shows how DWI crashes and impaired driving have had the devastating effects on thousands of lives. Their stories are poignant reminders of the lives altered and lost due to irresponsible decisions. The DWI Victim Impact Panel Class isn’t about judgment; it’s about fostering understanding and empathy. By attending, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the impact of your choices on others and gain the motivation to make positive changes in your behavior.

Partners in Parenting (formerly called TransParenting)

We know that in addition to childhood development, children impacted by divorce must master an added set of tasks that are the consequences of divorce often to no fault of their own. Adults in their lives must learn to be “Partners in Parenting”, focus on reducing conflict and maintaining a healthy family system in which children can strengthen their resiliency, grow, and thrive.

Partners in Parenting is a one time educational seminar designed to teach effective parenting during the transitions of divorce and parental separation. The course addresses the developmental and emotional needs of children and emphasizes each parent’s responsibility to provide a nurturing and non-threatening environment for the child. After completing the Partners in Parenting course, parents will learn how to effectively use a co-parenting approach and cooperation in raising children.
